An introduction to Kirkcudbright Community Council ...

The Community Council is the official conduit between the local authority and the local community. It is available through public monthly meetings to hear and air views and concerns of the local community and to take such action as is necessary.

It comprises an elected membership of volunteers from the community and is chaired by the Provost, Mrs Lesley Garbutt.  It is also attended by the three elected Dumfries and Galloway Councillors and representatives from other organisations, such as the Incorporated Trades.  Please see the Who's Who section for more details.

Meetings are always open to the public and take place on the second Wednesday of every month (except August) at 7.30pm in the Town Hall (unless otherwise stated).
